I'll be out at some point. Should be there by noon at the latest. Keeping an eye on the wind as well.

Fished from 11 AM - 4 PM in the howling wind. A mini blizzard popped up out of nowhere and boy did those crappie turn on! It was rough sitting thru it but the fish kept me busy enough to withstand the whipping snow. My screen was loaded with fish and the bite came 4 feet up from 9 feet. There were only 4 people on the ice. Back out next week!

I will be on marsh Sunday. New killzone XML came in the mail today so wind won't be an issue anymore.

Friday's howling wind and snow proved to be too much for my Showdown, went to charge it last night and found it won't shut off, on/off button not working neither are the other features. I'm guessing water got inside, so sadly I'm out of commission until I resolve this problem.

Fished this morning for 3 hours, slow bite, but did manage to land a 29 inch, 11.5 pound catfish. What a fight on 2 pound test line! He hit a small tear drop jig tipped of with a spike, luckily he was hooked solid in the corner of the mouth. Back out tomorrow!

thought I had one of those cat fish this afternoon,,,was ripping drag off and dragging me all over,,,turned out to be a very nice bass,,ill guess maybe 3 lbs,,,got off while I was trying to get him in the ice wich was fine cause I wouldn't have kept it anyway,,,wanted a pic. action picked up for us in 10 ft at about 4pm with a mixed bag till dark,,, lots of gills, some were keeper size,,,most were smaller,,,with a couple handsome perch. conservation officer out walking the ice today,,,checked us and we talked for a few minutes,,,real nice guy,,i should have took a pic of my machine about 430,,,,so many fish on it I was having a hard time picking out my jig. also found a pair of prescription glasses,,,look like they were stepped on but the lenses are still ok,,so if you lost them ,,,I have them in my truck.

Had an awesome afternoon Saturday in the howling wind. Non stop action from 2 to about 4:30. Got a real nice bass as well..put it back since I was after the crappies. Saturday morning was pretty good as well. Fished with a couple of friends and put some fish in the bucket. Can't wait to get back out!!

Fished this afternoon from 1-4;30 PM. Slush wasn't bad at all but shortly after I got there the wind shifted into HIGH gear. Around 3:30 my screen lit up, the bite was very light, hard to see the bite with the wind wobbling the rod, had to rely on feeling any slight weight change. I actualy had white caps with the water blowing out of the hole, kept 14 crappie and bailed out sooner than I wanted to, temperature dropped 10 degrees in one hour and the wind made it uncomfortable. Back out tomorrow!

Fished from 1030- til about 245. Caught a bunch of gills and perch and some crappie. Gills that I kept were pretty good size. Biggest perch came at 10in.
