It was still wide open except for the cove left of the parking lot as of yesterday. Hopefully it got capped last night and will start building thickness.

Still lots of open water but hopefully tonight ends that. Scott's run and Hopewell will probably be fishable tomorrow. They're both locked up with about 2 inches of crystal clear ice. Good luck and be safe! Test often and bring a friend. There's no prize for falling in first.

Any day now! Marsh Creek from the bridge to the big rock on Chalfont is capped. Struble needs a couple of windless nights to cap. Tackle Shack, up north, reports 5-6 inches on most lakes in that area. West Side Bait and Tackle reported that Frances Slocum, Poconos, is capped with 1 inch and growing. All my gear is ready, look forward to seeing you guys out there, been awhile since we walked the walk and drilled holes! Be safe and use good judgement! FYI: anyone looking for live bait in bulk try Bestbait.com, I got spikes from them, very lively !

Anyone have any tips on getting dust off of everything? Its been a few years for me so I need to clean off my gear. May be one of those years we are standing on 11"+.

Up at Struble about an hour ago. Frozen all the way across but didn't check the thickness. Looking good though.
