I have been there a few times over the past month and they are still eating. Getting bites on plastic worms (specifically the powerteam lures sick stick) on wood and also on lipless crank baits/swim baits in about 7-10 feet of water, did very well along all the rocks to the right of the Ranger dock.

I went out on Sunday and the action was not there at all. I ended the morning with 5 Bass (not my typical day on Chambers). It was a beautiful morning to be on the lake around 7:15 AM but then the fog rolled in and the wind kicked up and that was all she wrote. All Bass were caught in about 6-7 feet of water; there didn't seem to be any action shallow. So from the last time I went down a week ago to this last trip was a huge change. Water temps were right around 58 degrees. One guy I talked to caught one little dink but then landed a nice 4.5 lb so I'm not sure how he fared the rest of the morning. Of the 5 I caught the largest was around 17". The other 4 were all in the 12-14" range. Still a fun time on the lake though. But I am thinking that Bass Fishing 2016 may soon be in the books......THAT'S DEPRESSING!

Yes I was crazy enough to go out in wind. Caught a few keeper crappie few throwbacks. lots of small bluegill bites. I'm guessing minnows under a bobber would have been awesome today.

Anyone launch at chambers recently? Ever time I go there it's to shallow and there's no dock. I was end up turning around and going to marsh.

Ystrdy docks were still on dry land with lots of dry land between docks and water. Since I been fishing there almost every day this past week it looks like the water is dropping at 6in per day. Every day you can see the moisture on the rocks from where the water level was earlier that day

Got there right about 4 very windy but fishable near the dam caught at least 15 crappie but not 1 was close to legal. Never had that happen before handful of small bass and two 14in very fun as always. Ramp still out of the water but definitely rose some. Anyone fishing from shore looking for bass I suggest fishing close to rocks with shallow crankbaits. Every bass I caught was less than 6ft from shore

First time fishing in like forever for me. Tried the d**e from shore and caught several small to medium gills and seeds. Moved my truck and tried by the big rock wall near the dam and caught a few more. Moved back to the d**e and tried a different spot and caught some more. It was breezy the whole time (no surprise) but a beautiful day to be out fishing. I especially liked watching an eagle riding the thermals. Nice to be out again and slowing learning about the lake. BTW, a few gills were legal but none over 7.5".
