Did 4 hours today, wind and low temps made it difficult, everything kept icing up and the bite was slow. panfishin got there just as I came off the ice, almost turned around and went back out but I was numb at that point. I'll probably will regret that, driving home I saw a ton of deer ( mid afternoon) out feeding which tells me the fish bite could possibly turn on because the barometer was falling ahead of the snow that is coming. Back out tomorrow!

Pam? Never thought of that. I used Reel Magic which normally helps but not today. Hopefully tomorrow won't be as windy and cold and I'm really hoping my Marcum comes back from repairs. See you guys out there tomorrow!

Funny how the reports shifted from Struble early in the year to Marsh Creek.

Struble was good to me, caught plenty of keepers, but once MC formed good ice I switched over only becasue it's less of a drive.

Struble was good for me too. MC has better perch and a better shot at big fish

Struble still good to me but with working daylight shift, the longer ride to get to Marsh Creek cuts my fishing time down considerably. Maybe this Saturday am for me at Marsh, we'll see.

Did a full day today, slow bite, good company, the bite for me ( no machine) came just before quitting time, picked up several crappie. Best thing was getting home and finding my Marcum was in the mailbox and Marcum upgraded my machine at no charge and made the much needed repairs. Be back out tomorrow!

Fished off of chalfont road yesterday afternoon. Didn't mark many fish if any at all for the first 2hrs and only caught a couple of dink perch. Made a move a couple of hundred yards away and found fish. The bite was tough even towards dark but I managed a few keeper perch and some crappie. Biggest crappie was 11". My buddy got three nice perch in the 12"-13" range. Tried all kinds of things and had good numbers of fish on the screen but they would sniff and maybe lightly bite. Gorgeous day out in the sunshine and low wind.

Fished yesterday as well. Caught a handful of nice perch and ended up with 15 crappies in the bucket. It was slow for a couple hours then the bite turned on for the crappie one after another. Lasted about an hour then back to crickets. Most of them were good size with a dozen or so throw backs.
