I was up in northern Pa for a family reunion Sunday and brought my rods. The morning was hot and I lost a tiny largemouth on a senko. Later around 3 it cooled down and started to rain for quite some time so I took advantage of that and worked some lillypads. After about my 3rd cast as soon as it hit the water a nice largemouth hit it. He got tangled in the tall grass and lillys but I had fireline on so I knew he wasn't going anywhere. I don't know exactly how big he is but he seems like he was 2-3lb+ and was over 15 inches. You can be the judge. I havn't caught a bass over 2lbs in awhile. I went to a rod and gun club in NY and fished at the pond. It was hard fishing because the pond was very very low and it was hot. I caught a few decent bass on minnows and about 12 crappie using the flyrod. I let all the crappie go even though they were of nice size - same with the bass.
