Went to Muddy Run Reservior today and I must say I have never seen the water so low. I fish there alot because I live only 10 mins from it. I was amazed! It was pretty cool looking. However, no hits, no fish and 3 lost crankbaits. Two were brand new. I never lost a lure there in 6 years of fishing there until today. Good luck to all. MikeS

Were you in a boat or shore fishing? I haven't been there for about 4 or 5 years. I used to go there two or three times a year. Never caught any big fish but always caught something.

I was on shore at the bottom reservior (no boats allowed). I love fishing there because I usually catch something of quality whether it be a smallie, walleye, or even a wiper. I'm going to try the upper lake from my boat probably this weekend. I'll let you know how I do. i was going to mgo to Octoraro but it is really muddy so I'll wait.

There are two gates you walk through. one is near the info center and the other is across the bridge. Just follow to the end and the gate is there. mikes
