Christmas Eve Crappie Fishing

Took my new boat for a ride yesterday which was Christmas Eve and we found a tree that was holding some nice 12 inch crappies.

Fishing sure beats going shopping! on Christmas Eve!



These crappies were caught from Blue Marsh Lake, this lake is north of Reading along 183.

Nice going crappieman. just wondering which lake you were fishing. Was awful windy my neck of the woods. And from the look of the water around your boat it was pretty calm where you were. I'll be heading out tomorrow see if can load up on perch.

Hawgcatcher, good luck on those perch and yep it was windy, but we found a sunny cove and the water temp was a little warmer here both for fish and fisherman.
