Shoreline fished Octoraro Reservoir on 11/6 from 8:30 - Noon. 1.5 hours went by w/o a single bite on minnows, cranks, spinners, plastic worms, and nightcrawlers! Then switched to the trout magnet. I must say I had no confidence in the lure, but not much was left in my tackle box. However, BAM! BAM! BAM! 2 bass and a Crappie within 30 min. Now if I could have got the size to keep, I would have beeen real happy. On this day, this lillte lure was amazing! Anyone had luck fishing the Oct?

Haven't fished the Oct. recently, but you are right on the Trout Magnet. That is one of the hottest little lures in our store. We have sold a bunch of them and the reason is they catch fish. I personally have caught , a ton of crappies, bluegills, perch, several bass, and two catfish on them. The one thing I haven't caught is a trout! They work tipped with bait or without. They also brought out a Crappie Magnet this year which is the same only larger. Seems to work as well as the smaller one. If you haven't tried them give them a try ;D

The Crappie are biting here! Fished on 13 Nov in the morning, several fisherman caught Crappie and other Panfish. I guess the cooler weather is paying off.
