Fished Scotts Run last couple of days. Water was cold and clear, with only a few guys fishing. Most of the fishermen were fishing off the dam breast, using the ole scotts run bobber / fly setup. I did see several fish caught, but only after a lot of continious casting. I went up the bank past where the boats are moored, and started using wax worms. caught a couple of nice blue gills , but no trout. Switched to a rooster tail, brown in color with no weight. Last week when I was fishing I noticed a lot of follows on my lure but no takers. I was using 6lb test then. Respooled with 4 lb and tied on a 2 lb florocarbon leader. This time had several hits and landed one decent one. Went back today , same area caught two more fish, on a black rooster tail, one of which was a nice fat 14" rainbow, the other one was smaller which I returned to the water. Kept the 14" for my elderly neighbors, who like fresh fish. Make no bones about it these fish are tough to catch! There are a LOT of fish in the lake,( as evidenced by the constant fish jumping) but not many caught ! Good Luck
