hey all has anyone had any luck present or past with smallmouth fishing in lake octoraro caught one last yr curiousif there numerous or are they a rare catch? thanks for any input

I haven't been there in three years but.......We had good luck at the rip-rap along the road and also, there's a very small cove to the left when you leave the ramp. It's the one with the rock cliffs. Lots of sticks in there and we did fairly good. Pumpkinseed or motor oil tubes near the stumps & sticks. Rooster tails or small jigs near the rocks worked for us.

They are in there! I have caught a few small ones at the rock cliffs that tunnels mentioned over the years and a buddy of mine caught a really nice one a few years back throwing a deep diving crank on the shallow point at the Girl Scout camp; mid day no less.

Hey! I forgot about that side of the reservoir. Also the spillway. Like I said it's been a few years but maybe I should plan a trip. Since I moved to Bucks County, it's about a two hour ride for me, though.
