Those boats were in a tournament held by the Brandywine Bassmasters. This was the first tournament held here that was sanctioned by the park commision. Only 4 fish were weighed and the dinks were plenty. This lake has all the potential to be real productive in the coming years as there are plenty small bass. The club is suggesting to the park commision that they cut bank trees to create cover, Marsh Creek has done this with great success. Porcupine cribs will be installed in the next few months as part of a project for a local scout to complete the eagle rank. Brandywine Bassmasters will assist him in this. Remember to obey all the rules, keep the area clean, and catch and release. If you see someone breaking the law contact the park officers.
