i just moved here about 6 months ago and I heard this is the lake for walleye. Is it true? I grew up fishing the great lakes and finger lakes, so I'm hoping for good news. Can anybody tell me what luck they've had? Are they hard to come by?

Not really much in the way of good walleye fishing around here. They stock Struble with walleye but you don't here about to many being caught. Once the weather cools off I would try the Susquehanna river and if you don't mind driving 3 hours you could give Lake Wallenpaupack a shot, I use to night fish for them up there a lot and did pretty good but that was 20 years ago. If you have any more ? send me a PM through the site.

We've caught walleye up at Blue Marsh while bass fishing. Some real nice ones too.

Yea like already said, there are walleye in struble but its a real shot in the dark to target them and catch one. If you fish it enough you might 'accidently' tie into one eventually, but for the most part I wouldnt get my hopes up about it. The only close places to have a half descent chance at catching one is probably the river.
