Well I thought I would drop a post from last night. Me and a Buddy fished Struble last night from 10pm till 3am. It was a great night for fishing about 62 degrees. We caught 6 nothing of any size. This lake sure has dropped off alot in the last couple years. Has anybody had any problems with Spanish people out there. I fish that atleast 1 a month and I see them down by the dam all the time with a bucket never stopped to check bucket but they are always there. The water level out there was alot higher than I thought it would be with the dry spell as of late. Man we saw alot of fish jumping last night. quick question can you bass fish at night never tried any lures were better than others. thanks good luck to all and please remember throw back anything small for the next person conservation is key!!!!!

I've bass fished at night a couple of times, I've only had luck with poppers and jitterbugs. I think they hunt mostly by sound and vibrations or something like that. I'm sure theres better advice out there, theres a lot of experienced fishermen on this board.

A lot of people fish bass a night, buzz baits, spinner baits (one guy last year caught a 7lber at marsh on a BLACK! spinner bait late at night!!) You might even do better at night along some shallow structure at struble for bass at night when the temps cool down like that. As far as spanish people go, not only them to blame but they are a big part in the downfall of struble, see BigDaveE post in this same struble reports for some more info on that on.

Only fished Struble once at night and caught a few on shallow running crankbaits and spinnerbaits. We just fished the banks and covered a lot of water. Good luck hope that helps a little.
