Week of 5-13-23 to 5-20-23 We stayed at the Turtle Hill Cottages (wonderful place to stay, great accommodations)
Particulate in the water made the North end of the lake water a little stained , not as clear as it normally is)
Air temps were 40's to upper 50's, however high winds all week, which made it physically tough all week. Sun to mostly cloudy day
4 guys caught a total of 645 fish, Target was Pike. bye catch of mostly Bass, a few Perch and a couple Redeye (all fish returned to the water)
Largest Pike 31" 6.32 lbs
Largest Bass 20" 4.04 lbs
Mulitple Bass between 3 and 4 lbs
Most Pike between 20 - 30"
equipment was mostly baitcasting rigs with 15 or 20# braid , Lures consisted of mostly spinnerbaits ( War Eagles, Booyah, Stanley Wedge and Lunker Hunt)
Cankbaits were Rapala and Googan Squad Ghost Gill regular size.
Weather wasn't the greatest, but we still had fun and enjoyed our week.
