Fishing the west brandywine hoping to get a couple left over trout from the annual spring trout rodeo. To my surprise I caught not snagged a white sucker. Blew my mind never did that before.

I am fairly sure the state is stocking the delayed harvest section of the brandywine pretty soon. I want to say it’s next week. The info is listed on the fish and game website.

The West brandywine in coatesville doesn't get delayed harvest stocking. The east brandywine above Downingtown does. In coatesville every spring there is a kids only rodeo for the weekend. Lots of trout get stocked and lots don't get caught. Yes they survive bcuz I have caught many myself right before the following year rodeo .

Just realized I forgot to mention in the original post. I caught the sucker on a plain shad dart. Didn't tip it with any power bait or live bait just a good old school red and white shad dart
