Hi everyone,
Going to marsh creek tomorrow with some friends for the first time. Likely renting a boat for 3-4 hours. I have plenty of rods, two of us don’t really fish, but wanted some tips on bait. I was thinking of bass but I just want the guys to have a decent time and not get skunked all day. Any tips on artificial and/or live bait that I should bring?
Any help would be appreciated, even on tips for where to go on the lake.

Live worms under a bobber for the most action. You can catch panfish, bass, catfish..pretty much anything that swims in the lake with a worm on a small hook.
good luck.

Be sure to stop at Gordon's for bait, lures and tackle and advise about fishing the lake. It's just south of the Park Road entrance on Rt 100. www.gordonssportssupply.com/fishing

above comments are good and if you stop at the Gordons shop, they sell minnows too. can't go wrong with those.

If you prefer artificial, Try senkos fished wacky style. If no bites, try a spinner.
