The lake was clear and surface temp was 53 today. Got 1 keeper in 7ft. Several guy's wading along the bank both stepped against several musky lying along the bank. Very few boats out.

your typing misleading, you saying dead musky along shoreline? and what are you keeping out of marsh?

Should have said laying in the shallows near the bank. Not keeping anything. Keeper refers to a 15inch legal bass. Caught and released.

Around this time of year muskies will pair up and attempt to spawn in shallow water, usually near cover or shade. I have seen that often in MC. They will only move away if they have no choice. Cool to see but they will be spawning and should not be disturbed as much as possible. No point in fishing for them for a while now that they are spawning.

No musky spawns with much success in eastern Pa. Tigers which the PFBC stocks are sterile, purebreds(club stocked) can but as I said with little to no success around this area. Both will go through the motions which makes them easy to find and catch at this time... Don't understand why the PFBC "opened" the season on them other than people were fishing for them anyway. Sadly even catch + release kills some fish.
