Conowingo Dam/Conowingo Reservoir

Anyone in here fish under the dam often? What about above the dam? Ive fished below the dam and am wondering if anyone is catching striper or flatheads right now, or anything for that matter. I've never fished above the dam but hear it has some quality large and smallmouth fishing. What else is in there? Is it worth fishing?

I don't fish there often but I was there on Sunday. Launched from Perryville and caught a bunch of white perch, a few Channel cats and a 15 1/2" Rockfish. Nobody was really catching anything but I did see a guy boat a roughly 18"-20" smallmouth
