Skipped trout fishing this weekend and headed for lake Ontelaunee to try for some catfish. Bad idea, not a bite. After striking out here I figured I'd run over to Bernharts dam in laureldale and try my luck at some bass fishing. Only had one bite but it was this nice just under 20" beauty. I'm ready for some warm weather, come on spring. Attachments:

That's a nice healthy looking bass!
I'm looking forward to some warmer weather as well and by the looks of the weather report it's coming later this week.

I'll let you know.... if I get one LOL. They are popular for eating down there though. There are/were catch + grill tourneys on the Potomac awhile back... Area chefs would cook them up after weigh-in. Promoted them as "eat the invasives" I think.

I was over Friday morning looking for crappies struck out. I had "twisters", crappie nuggets and leftover wax worms. Another guy showed up with fatheads... skunk for him too so I didn't feel that bad LOL.
