Pond Fishing 3/18

First trip on the water for the season. With the cold and wind I decided on a little pond fishing for some Bass. The water was COLD, COLD, COLD and the Bass just would not cooperate. I fished for about two hours and was pleasantly surprised with a huge bluegill and three decent crappies. So although I didn't catch what I was after I didn't leave the pond with a big old skunk, haha. It did feel great to be out there though tossing a few baits in the water.

Took my first trip out to a pond as well before the snow came in but no luck. At least you got something. Definitely felt good to get out even if it was only a short trip.
