I wanted to fish on Sunday tried Chambers still frozen over. Took a hr drive to susky in Maryland water very muddy and lots of derbies in the water. Gave it a shot and tried for a hour anyway nothing. On the way home decided to see if any of the Cvlle resivior was open. By the dam lots of open water if anyone needs to wet a line this is your best opportunity for now.

Was bored after work today shallows up Chambers starting to open up. Still ice close to the dam. Stopped by Cvlle resivior fishable water from steep bank to the dam. Even some fishable water in the woods some. If we don't get a major cold front soon might be able to find perch soon

Yea ice fishing is legal. Me and my family have done it for many years and have never been ran off. Unfortunately that ice hasn't been thick enough for me in past few years to try. They were some very bold guys ain't no way I'm trusting ice this time of year

Just found out no longer allowed to ice fish this lake. My uncle who has ice fished here for over 50yrs said he got ran off for the 1st time this year. They have now posted no ice fishing signs around the lake. I myself have ice fished this lake many times. Another good fishery lost when conditions are right

Let's see should I go to Giant and pay $3.99lb for fresh white perch or go to grocery bargain outlet and pay $6.99lb for frozen white perch fillets? Answer neither head to cvlle resivior and molly wop them. Caught my limit of 50 in a couple hours. Just bobber and worm

White perch are fattening up for the winter. Either bobber and worm or sinkers bottom fishing. Move around until you find them. Plenty of them in there

Warmer weather coming this weekend. If it stays white perch spawning run should be starting soon. Head to the creek at the bridge and anywhere close to there. Big females should be abundant. Tight lines

Surprise surprise went to dam on the wood side today and there is now basically a dirt road to walk to the other end of the lake. Wish it was like that when I was a kid . Crappie fishing those in the water trees would have been way easier. As for white perch it's loaded as usual. Bobber and worm is all need. You might have to try a couple different spots to find them though. They move a lot in the summer. Go getm

Good news good news the water is down so low you can basically walk around the whole lake. Even on the woods side. Fish are more concentrated in less water. White perch are very easy to find. Bobber and worm or bottom rig with worms. Lots in there and great tasting. Go getm before the water rises.
Tight lines
