Does anyone fish this impoundment of the Schuykill river?
Was looking for a trout stream near there on Google Maps and saw this body of water.
Can you put a boat in it? hows the fishing?

It's closed to fishing right now. The headwaters has the Peace Rock where many people come to jump in the river and party. Local authorities have it closed off to trespassing and they will arrest you.

That's a shame. I was just looking at that on the map last week. There's another lake further up that's part if the river. I never hear anything about it.

I found this on the Schuylkill river heritage site.
PLEASE NOTE: The Kernsville Dam area is CLOSED and marked NO TRESPASSING. This includes the Peace Rock area and the Kernsville Dam itself. The first parking lot is still open to the public for parking so that visitors may legally use the Schuylkill River Trail Bartram Section. Boaters are allowed to use the river, aside from the area immediately before and after the dam.
Sounds like if you stay away from the dam you can drop a yak or canoe in?
