Hi everyone I just recently got heavy back into Bass fishing and I head to Octararo quite often because I have had some great luck there this year. But I have recently gone there a few times to fish and the water level is down a few feet at least. Anyone know why that is? Is that common for most Pa lakes & Reservoirs this time of year? And when the water levels are a few feet lower can anyone please give me a few tips on how to fish those type conditions this time of year? I would greatly appreciate it. Last few times out trying new places my buddy and I have got skunked. Fishing everything from Plastics, spinners, squarebills, chatterbait, etc.
This is my Fisherman's Bible.......I can honestly say that I was only skunked twice the whole season. All PA lakes are low right now; it mostly has to do with lack of rain. Blue Marsh is on it's annual winter drawdown now too. But any of the lakes around here are several feet below normal right now.
