Spent the better part of the afternoon fishing the lake today. No trout but plenty of crappies and perch.

Were they spawning yet? Were you catching them near the bank, or deeper in the lake?

And were you using jigs or live minnows?

Near the bank. I was drifting mealworms on a float behind a patch of cat tails along the shore.

Do you know if the trout are still catchable or is it too warm now?

Do you know if the trout are still catchable or is it too warm now? I didn't see any caught but the lake was restocked earlier this week.

Do you frequent the lake? From time to time. I do most of my trout fishing in French Creek.

Scotts Runn Lake _ Trout can be caught at sun up, or late evenings on meal worm or bait. Not much happening with spoons or flies. Last stocking for summer was on 4/19/16. Size runs from under legal size to 12.5" Have not seen or heard of anything larger. Good Luck.
