Weekend on the river; buddy and I netted over 30 fish, mostly bass and a few walleye. Now most were under 2 pounds but the guy in the front of the boat (mot me) backboated me and landed the larger fish. He had 2 over 3 pounds (weighed)....but I had the volume on my side with 20 fish. Great day but got terribly hot. I am not familiar with the river but we were in the middle pool below Wrightsville area. Used mostly small jigs.
Blue Marsh was slow... but I netted 11 bass with 3 keepers (over 15"), largest was 3 pounds 4 oz. Mostly on worms. That was on Tuesday. This damn work thing is interfering with my fishing...so may have to lay off for a few days!
