I've been pursuing carp with my fly rod with some success. Schulykill is great for it and I have a few other spots in streams and lakes. I'm wondering if anyone know any public ponds where I could sight fish for them. It would be nice to have the easy access of a pond for weekdays after work when I don't have a lot of time. The twin ponds in downingtown used to be ok but seems un maintained and covered in algae last I checked. Any ideas? Thanks

I'll check it again. In past years they had fountains running and that seemed to help. When I looked it was super low and a thick layer of algae covered every inch. For fly fishing I need some open water.

It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but Blue Marsh has a ton and I've heard the Tulpehocken does as well.
