I know this is very early, but I know everyone's summer is busy and alot of people plan Fall vacation, so I wanted to get this out early and let people plan ahead. With that being said, as per the conversation we had with many people during the Spring rally, we are going to try and organize a Fall Rally. Basically gonna be the same layout as the previous meeting.
When: October 2 (Sunday)
Time: Meet at ramp 6:30 AM (Approx. sunrise is 7:00 AM)
Location: Haythingy Ramp @ Lake Nockamixon
Fishing will be till approx. 1:00 pm, at which time we will begin with the collecting of prizes, food preparation, raffle tickets, etc...
We ask that everyone attending bring a few small items (crankbaits, pack of soft plastics, hooks, etc...) to the rally. We collect all the 'goodies' and that becomes our prize. We will have the same $5/ticket for the raffle. *Hopefully FLATHEAD can get us tickets again.* I plan on bringing my portable propane grill for cooking food. Maybe we can have some people volunteer for bringing food (i.e. hotdogs, hamburgers, rolls, sodas, etc...). I will most likely bring some kind of hotdogs/hamburgers, but I'll let everyone know when the date gets sooner.
Like I said above, this gives everyone plenty of time to plan ahead and make arrangements. Hopefully we can plan food and rides, so that everyone can attend and fish. Perhaps even, if interested, we could have a mini-tournament.
If anyone is interested in fishing or meeting some other local fishermen, should be a good time.
