Hy Doyle, looking forward to meeting you, I will be a white 17 foot Carolina Skiff, there will be 3 of us in my boat, I will be up near the breast, maybe in the small cove left of the breast or on the shore line to the right of breast.
If I don't find the big gills I will try the 20 foot hump in the middle near 60 foot of water.
See ya there.

Crappie Man,
If you could be so kind as to give me some insight on where to find that hump I would greatly appreciate it. It sounds like it could be a good spot for late summer and winter bass. If you don't want to give up the location do not sweat it. I would understand. However you can't blame a guy for asking.
Thanks

Lets see those pictures! Was out yesterday caught a ton of bluegill near the dam, some nice size ones too. Ive been locating the crappie about 12 feet down in 60 feet of water, but can't catch them. Also a perch here and there.

Facing the dam look to your left, and you will see a small cove, the point that extends out from the mtn that seperates the long cove and the little dam cove is your center point, start there and move out towards the middle untill you drop of into 60 feet, back up to the 20 foot hump, its very near the middle of the lake straight out from that point.
Hope that helps.

We also fished the dam area and only could get gills in the 6 to 7 inch range, I was after the 8 to 9 inchers.

We finally found the big gills at 4 pm, I used my Aqua-Vu to find them. We ended up with 72 keeper bluegills and these gills produced 5.5 lb of fillet. We must have caught 300 gills between the 4 of us, finally I said I have enuff of those 6 inchers and thats when I found the mother load. This lake needs to be fished hard for gills or we might get a stunted problem, I never saw so many fat 6 inchers, so lets take a few 8 inchers out of the lake for table fare and make room for all those 6 inchers. home.comcast.net/~j.rutter/100_1110.jpghome.comcast.net/~j.rutter/100_1112.jpghome.comcast.net/~j.rutter/100_1105.jpg
