Took my new kayak out for the first time sunday went with a buddy whos got one too. Never fished this lake before but heard it was open so we went out and had a great time and a beautiful day too. We did alot of cruising around all the way up the tribs and hard to get to areas and fished for a little bit and got my first fish from the yak! 1 pickerel on a shadow rap. Was just great to be outside and fish finally!! Shouldnt be long now for our local lakes to open up.
