Took my coworker Jamison to the lake after work. Kind of a tough evening. We fished from about 5:30pm till 11pm and got five fish, nothing over 14". Two on soft plastics, two on live minnows and one on a top water.
Nice meeting you midnightbasser! Shame we didn't catch a few more but the slow bite that was there sure died completely after the sun went down.

Hey tomm nice meeting you guys also. At least you guys caught something, I only had one hit and I missed it. It was a nice night to be on the water, the bugs weren't to bad, even with the black light on. The bats were out in full force and kept hitting my line, a bit of a pain, but they kept me awake.

I recently moved to Upper Uwchland (and support Gordon's for all my hunting and fishing needs!) Anyway, tonight was the first night I got out on the lake bass fishing. I had been out on the lake once before in April for crappie (got nothing), and in October for ducks/Geese (got one of each).
So tonight, I took the kayak out from 7:30 - 9:30. I caught 8 bass, all at least 12", one about 18", all on soft plastics. All released of course. I'd been reading that the bass fishing wasn't so good, but for me tonight anyway, it was awesome. I will be back!
