First time fishing this lake drove the boat up with my girl. Launched at the end of the lake at the ledgedale launch around 10. I guess we didnt pick the best day to go, was real windy and would rain on and off. Fished from the launch all the way up to the ironwood cove launch but couldn't make it much farther, was being blown around in my jon boat way too much. I managed 1 very small largemouth on a meps. Then caught a pretty nice pickerel on a spinner right in front off the launch before leaving. Left around 430. Was a rough day but definitely will be checking this place out again soon before it gets too cold hopefully the weather will be better.

Nice. I have a house on the lake up there and was planning on trying to get up there one last time as well. I'll be going up there to ice fish probably in early feb. Was there a lot of people on the lake?

No there wasn't we were surprised we only saw a handful of boats the whole day. I might make it back up once in November but if not me and the girlfriend are definitely going in the spring

Well me and my buddy went up Saturday. Left his house at 530 got on the water around 8ish. We were joking we should go to nockamixon like we always do but went for it anyway. Started to flurry once we got close lol there was the first bad sign. Second one was we drove from the dam all the way down to legdedale and didnt see one other boat out there. We thought about turning around but went out anyway. Water temp was around 47 48 and we threw everything we had and got nothing but 1 nibble on a jig in 20ft. We did not see one other boat all day just one lone kayak. Highlight of the trip was seeing 4 bald eagles and fishing below one that was perched in a tree. Man those things are huge. I cant wait to come fish this lake during the spawn next year

Damn, sorry to hear no luck. We are going to fish the points and drop offs by my house since I'm taking the jon boat with trolling motors. I hear the water is really low. I'm going to throw swimbaits and a couple go to crankbaits and slow roll them. I've never trolled before but I may try to troll the points and hope for some fish. If nothing I will sit in the channel with some bait...if ur free u should come back up and join us.

There is a creek that runs into the lake in the back of our cove. I'm thinking some fish may be near there feeding or in deeper water. I may troll a little from the back to the middle of where were at. There is an island in front of my house that I can hit too. If nothing I'll sit out and fish with bait. I have a propane heater I'm going to take out to keep warm..

Yeah definitely bring the heater! We brought a little grill but my buddy forgot the propane so we couldnt even use it. The water coming in from the creek was significantly colder. Around 42 43 and then the water would randomly be at 47. We tried fishing right where it met but nothing. I would try try drop shotting off points where channel s run thru. This lake is way different from the weedy shorline lakes I am used to so im not of much help but hopefully you do good good luck out there and stay warm
