Hi headed up to the "pack" this Saturday for a week of fishing on the lake. Will have my lund with me and a slip for the week also. Looking for SM, panfish and possibly some stripers. Any help would be appreciated... thanks.

Got back from the Wallenpaupack yesterday (Saturday). Great trip, great weather for the most part. Fished just about every day. I guess I had about 100+ smallmouth 1 to 4 lbs, 15 LMB, 100+ bluegills and rock bass and about a dozen huge perch and crappies. No stripers, walleyes or trout... nor did I see or hear of any caught. Then again I don't like to fish at night. I used twister tail jigs for everything. Boat traffic on the weekend was unbelievable. Speed boats flying by no more than 25 feet away while fishing. After the weekend I had the lake almost to myself. Water temp was around 75 I went for a swim numerous times. I think the fishing would of been even better if the water temp was in the mid sixties.

Thanks for sharing. I have a house on the lake up there and I may be headed up there this coming weekend. I usually do really well on jerkbaits and swimbaits. I went out with a guide this year and learned a lot. Caught some really nice smallmouth and some big largemouth. I caught 1 walleye, small striper and a bunch of pickerel. The skiers, boaters, etc do not care about fishermen because they come so close. Hopefully they are still biting when I go back up...
