Headed up to the lake before sun up. Caught a 3lb LM right at the ramp on a strike king spinnerbait. Great start! As the sun came up and the rain started, I fished a couple of main lake points and coves (along with all the tourney guys), and put a keeper smallie, a 5 pound catfish and a bluegill in the boat, all on the same spinnerbait. That catfish blasted the spinnerbait and put up one heck of a fight. Got one more LM on a senko fishing some fallen trees up the Spring Creek arm. Not a bad day.
