Went on boys weekend at this private lake community in the Poconos. Two boats x 2 guys in each. Lake was drained last winter...and showed some degraded fishing from my experience here a year ago.....
Water temps in high 60s with a stained red/brown color. The lake has lots of nice looking banks and a few islands but is mainly only 2 to 4 ft deep.
We got a total of 11 bass, several large blue gill, a monster crappie, and believe it or not....a huge carp on a top water lure.....he attacked it like a Muskie!
Almost all the fish were caught on top water.....evening and early morning. Surprisingly the crank baits, Senkos, and spinner bait yielded no bass.
Biggest one was 2 lbs....most around 1 lb.
Try it if you can......
