I could use some tips one where to catch some bass fishing on Marsh Creek on the shore. (day side) I've tried just about everything, even live bait and still havn't caught any decent sized Largemouth. Whats been working well this year? Looking to purchase some new lures, which ones should I add to my invitory? Also where would be the best place to fish and what should I look for? Thanks

I dont know what baits you are useing but try senkos they have been excellent there. As far as where to fish that is a coin flip Marsh is tough enough to fish from a boat let alone the shore my best advice is to fish at night or dusk and try senkos or spinnerbaits in front of the boat rental shore. Good Luck.

I saw alot of talk about Senko's on this board, I never really used plastics before, but I am sure its not that difficult. I have used spinnerbaits and my favorite lures to use at night are Jitterbugs and the good Ole Popper.

ranger is right about time of day. Try either ramp area. From the Lyndell ramp try the left side, as you look at the lake. There is a pretty good weed bed that seems to always hold bass & big 'gills. Most of the bass will be smaller (under 2 lbs.) but there's the occasional 3 or 4 pounder from there. I've had luck using in-line spinners or drop-shotting 4" worms. Good luck!!

Thanks, will be heading up to Marsh Creek this Friday, fishing from about 4:30 to dark. I have loads of inline spinners that I have used for trout fishing ( Joe Flys Rooster Tails etc.) and will try out Drop shotting and Senkos.
