was out from 8.30 a.m. until 3.00 p.m. did good with 30+ perch and about the same in blue gills took 8 perch and 8 gills home will injoy the gills tonight and save the perch for the weekend all fish came from 20-24ft of water near the dam when facing dam on the right side along that bank not sure what was holding fish there but all perch were on or near mud bottom hope this will help others just save some for me Doyle p.s. worms

good report, thanks, more people should be open with the info. Its give and take people. use the internet but give back also. I used to fish the Marsh with fathead minnows on a #6 hook and nothing more than a split shot. you would be suprised where you find the fish and how deep or shallow they are. they could be anywhere really. this fathead routine gets you the perch and crappie and bass. it is highly recommended for the novice or to get kids into fishing. it is a real challenge to land a big bass on ultra-lite gear. and once again your report proves if you want a fish fry you can get it and also have alot of fun by using ultra-lite. support catch and release for the bass and musky
