No one's posted much from the brandy lately so here goes: Fished during the day from about 2-4pm off the bridge at Stroud's preserve. Did pretty well, got a little maybe 10" smallie, a couple rock bass and a nice bluegill. Saw some nice bass cruising around but the bigger ones are wise to my tricks. Actually had a nice one on the line but it threw the hook. Most everything was caught on live superworms. Around 4pm about 15 teenagers with tubes showed up and were splashing around in the water and making a ruckus. One of them goes "why is that guy fishing here, there's no fish in here" Thanks a lot a**hole! That was my cue to call it a day. That is actually a pretty good spot, but you have to catch it at just the right times, otherwise there are people tubing there or a lot of people bring their dogs to swim under the bridge there, right where all the fish are.

I havnt fish that section much this summer. I know from past experience it can be boom or bust. That said, the sections I have fished seem a little slow and fish are very thin.
