Took my son for his first shad outing. Non stop American and hickory shad, stripers, and white perch. The kid had something on for awhile that eventually straightened out his hook. Great first experience for him.

I guess Chumlee went MIA.
Its normally crowded there most of the shad run. If your there on a weekday early or late you should be able to find a spot, otherwise its tight but theres enough room for everyone. I would guess the run is about done now. Americans are usually the last stretch and its getting a bit late now.
