picked up 6 bass today but they were defiantly small cousins to yesterdays bruiser. Mixed bag of baits; spinnerbaits, lizard and jerk baits.

Andy, you've gotta be the only person catching fish in our area. LOL Nice going!

Frogman did ok this weekend…Saturday I fished all day and had 2 bites, one just happened to be over 5 pounds. I was out 5 other times and got skunked twice, not counting a jaunt at Blue Marsh (skunked also) but that day we had 35mph winds.. yesterday they were all small bass under 2.5. Gotta find the warmest water this time of year, and later in the day is defiantly better… and that water may NOT be the summer spots we catch them in. Too often we hit the summer spots we got some at last year and the now bass are moving in from deeper water to eat, their metabolism is sluggish and they need to put weight on before the spawn, but these spots are NOT their summer haunts. And let the fish dictate what you do. everybody wants to be using fast moving baits and that does not always work. We will have rain tomorrow and cold nights later in the week which will put a slow down on the bass feeding. AND HEY, that open tourney at Marsh Creek boated some really nice fish a few weeks ago….Anyway, sometime I get lucky
