Hey there everyone. I was out at the Spillway below Blue Marsh targeting walleye and was just curious if anyone had any pointers as to how to fish that particular area. I'm trying to catch 50+ different species of fish this year and I understand that walleyes, catfish and musky can be caught there, but I wasn't sure if there were particular methods that worked the best there. Thanks in advance!

also stripers and bass… the pool is the best area, much below that it gets more like a stream and is better for trout. I am not sure where the artificial lure only area starts on that creek.

I'm specifically targeting the walleye, but obviously wouldn't mind a tangle with the stripers or musky. Anything in particular work better than others? I was going to pick up a few husky jerks and a couple other random things. I've never caught a walleye, so this will be new to me.

the usual assortment of rigs for walleye work, as will shiners and crank baits. The spillway area is loaded with rocks so you may loose a few rigs in that area.

Basser, do you know if the spillway parking lot is open and lot at night?

I really do not know…I have fished the lake at night but never the spillway… I think this is the Army Corp number 610) 376-6337
