Beautiful day, saw deer romping the shore, pheasants, numerous other wildlife. My son came home so we hit the lake around 10:00, slow bite, the water is in the mid 50's, but we each had a nice fish. Lake is drawn down so now is the time to check out usually hidden shoreline features. Attachments:

Thanks for the report, I'm hoping to get out with a buddy on Saturday AM.
I'm used to the Dry Brooks ramp but with the draw down would it be easier to launch from State Hill? I've got an 18' aluminum mod-v.

I launched at Dry Brooks last week no problem. Just have to beach your boat to get aboard. A fellow also launched a 22 foot + walkaround with twin outboards while I was there.

sorry I missed that post about the ramp, either ramps are still very usable, as Shellback said, you have to beach the boat to get in/out but the ramps themselves are concrete and have enough angle to get the boat to float. Stripers are hitting.
