went from 2pm-8pm. it was warm but the water was still chilly. still, my buddy brought in 6 or 7 lm, i lost count. 2 were tiny, the others were 1.5-2.5lbs. he was drop shottin' a tiny brushhog and caught most near the shorelines. i got a small perch a gill and a nice black crappie that jumped off as i was holding it above the water, waiting for it to stop thrashing around. pretty fish....

What was the water temp looking like? Last weekend i was seeing around 59. Has it warmed up at all?

That's good to hear. I am hoping with the new moon next week and the water in the 60's some of these bass may move into start spawning. Does anybody know the magic number from past seasons? I just moved to the area and this is my second year fishing the lake. Last year i missed the spawn. I am assuming it will start when the water holds in the mid 60's but i am just guessing. Any info from Marsh Creek Vets out there? Thanks
