Finally made it to Noxontown Lake in Del at a private school where the movie "The Dead Poet Society" was filmed. The lake is open to public during the summer/fall but you do need a boat. Access ramp is ok but no dock....limited parking as well..opens at 6 a.m. The lake is magnificent. Really beautiful and has the appearance of excellent bass habitat...even if it is only 4-5 foot deep...lots of lilly pads, weeds, downed trees, etc. So good...we only found 3 small bass the whole day. Water color was very brown and temp 65-68....tried everything in our bag.....lots of small bait fish breaking the surface all day -- conditions were very clear sky -- slight winds on and off....tough day...great lake.
