Is the ramp open 24 X 7? I've never fished here and want to give it a try.

It's been ten years since I fished there Tom but back then it opened at 6am and I think it closed at sunset.

Thanks! I called and the ramp is open from 6am until 8pm 7 days a week. Same with the store. He said they do change the hours later on in the year. Any fishing tips, gps coordinates? Tom

I was one of two boats out there this past Saturday. It was hot and the water was very muddy. Zero Visibility. I managed to catch a hog of a LM (6-7 lbs) but that was it in about 6 hours. As with all muddy water, use something bright, loud, and fish slow over cover.

This is the lake i fish most because i love to fish the cover. I do the stereotypical "bank beating". There are a lot of good bass in there, and a lot of hogs as was mentioned. My biggest this year was pushing 7 lbs. In the summer you really gotta get into the cover tight, or fish the offshore stuff. If you can't hit way up under trees and limbs consistently, Ron waste your time shallow. The lake muddies up pretty bad at times, and is a wind tunnel. I fish from a 1436 jon with a 28 lb thrust motor and its a struggle some days, but its a Great Lake to learn on. Goodluck
