Launched at the dirt ramp on Lyndell side today with no problems. Another fellow who had a big Triton launched there to without any trouble. You need to wear waders if you are putting in by yourself or you'll get wet feet.

That's the biggest problem with using the dirt ramp, I fish by myself most of the time and refuse to change into waders to put my boat on the trailer. I see no reason for the lake to still be at winter pool. If I go fishing this weekend I will go to Conowingo Reservoir.

Since I fish most of the time by myself, I picked up a pair of those boot waders for like 19 bucks. All I have to do is slip my sneakers off, slide on the waders and I'm good to go. The waders go up about mid-thigh. Takes all of a minute or so on and off.

I have a 18 ft Ranger and my Buddy has a 21ft Triton neither rig has trouble launching or loading at winter ramp with this water level! With the water as low as it has been you will actually be further into the drop off and your rig will float off with ease.

To All,
The Park Staff was slowly closing the gates on the dam as of Tuesday this past week to begin to bring the water level of MCL up. With little snow melt this year, spring rains will be the key as to how fast the water level rises. There are sunken springs and creeks that feed the lake, but definitely the rains are needed. This is the 1st year in many that the lake was actually drawn down to the normal winter pool which is 357 ( feet above sea level). We need to the level to rise quickly for the first open tournament sponsored by Marsh Creek Bass Club on Saturday April 8th.

Thanks for the info Larry, they are calling for a chance of thunder storms Sun. Mon. & Tues. so maybe we will get enough rain to help the water level. Nice walleye shillins24, did you catch it in the Delaware River, looks like you were night fishing.
