Fished Hopewell in afternoon.. water temp 47-49 Clear. Really nice weather had the lake busy. Usually when water is in the 40's we don't expect traffic. We fished mostly in creek channels.. saw them on sonar, but I only managed one 12" Bass on a Shaky Head in @16' of water. Wasn't any trouble launching and landing boat, but another few inches less water level and it could have been a challenge.

I would imagine most of the bass are towards the dam now in deeper water. I was once told that jigging spoons are the way to go down there once the water gets that cold; I haven't tried it yet though. Wonder if they might be sitting on the ledge over by the beaver debris as well?
