ive been fishing for most of my life and have never caught a small-mouth . where are the best places at marsh creek, and what baits do you all suggest i use? thanks for any help...

I like to go back to the rock wall, catch some krayfish, hook'em in the tail with a boober on them and hold on...

kopack, I'm not really sure what to suggest, they are in there and some big ones at that, but there isn't any real consistency to where they are being caught that I have heard of. Do you fish from a boat or are you shore fishing. If you will let us know if you fish out of a boat or from shore I think you will get better info as to what and where to try at Marsh Creek. If you want to up your odds, I would suggest you fish the Susquehanna River or the Schuylkill River.

even though you posted in the marsh creek board...maybe try out chambers lake in hibernia park, i heard quite a few people saying the smallie fishing around the damn was pretty good last year.

i would also suggest the conestoga river in lancaster, there are a lot of smallies and channels cats in the river and are farily easy to catch with live bait. There are also some nice walleys in there as well.

if the boat can handle shallow water try up behind spring city in the schukyll you wont be dissapointed i have a tracker tx 17 i use the trolling motor onli in there
