Went by Stube yestrday and saw what looked like a state boat putting in, but was in a hurry and couldn't stop in. Went over today just before noon, and the same boat was just putting in. One of the fellows was walking to the ramp after parking the truck, and I stopped to get a quick word with him. He said the state was doing a study on the health of the fish for human consumption. They had put out nets the day before, and were there to retrieve them today. I asked if they would publish the results, and he said it would be available from the fish commission, at a later date. I then drove over to look at the truck, and it said "Pa Department of Enviromental Protection" on the side of it. First time I've heard of that being done on a lake. Have to keep an eye on fish commissions web site to see what the results are.
