A new Delaware State Record Largemouth bass record was set on Thursday 3-22 by J. D. Hitchens of Georgetown, DE. The fish weighed 10lb 10oz. The previous DE state record LM was 10lb 5oz set in 1980 almost 32 years ago. Fish was weighed in and released alive hopefully to pass those genes on one more time. They are not saying where the fish was caught yet or on what bait, but I would suspect from a Seaford area pond.
