Well; havent gotten the boat out yet this year to hit the lakes; but this week was an excellent week of Pond Fishing. I caught 16 Bass this week in my favorite Pond. They are definitely cruising around the edges right now....just waiting to get on those beds in a few weeks. First night out they were hitting a jig-n-pig.....second night out......they were hitting a shallow crankbait and third night out......Yum F2 Dingers. All were between 1-3 pounds; but I was ecstatic. Saw a couple of REAL MONSTERS in the pond but they saw me as well and swam off. Same pond I caught my 8-1 in two years ago. Guaranteed that was one of the huge bass I saw the other night as I did throw her back after taking a few pics two years ago. Bet she's over 9 now or bigger.

Finally got the boat out this past weekend; but I still hit my favorite pond during the week. I caught a 10-2 last Thursday; biggest Bass I have ever caught or ever seen for that matter. I emailed pics to Gordans; so I am hoping to have it up top in the banner shortly. Caught her on a Berkely Havoc Slop Craw in Black/Blue with a 1/4 oz pegged tungsten weight. Only Bass I caught the whole evening......but that was fine with me. Also went to Marsh Creek on Saturday; seemed like there were quite a few boats out. I came across people who caught nothing and then the next person I spoke to was doing well. I ended up catching 6 all around 12-14" and all caught in shallow water on a Junebug 4" Yum Dinger.
